My favorite thing in my house is my Kitchen Aid Mixer!!! My mom still has her yellow one from the 1970’s and it is all I know how to bake with. Making cookies is a snap and bread can be mixed and kneaded with the bread hook attachment. After I got married I just couldn’t "survive" without it(at least that is what I told my husband!) and bought a cobalt blue one a year later!

The only bad thing about it is that it is heavy duty and isn’t something you can just lug around. Mine is just set out on my counter and since I chose a color that coordinates with my kitchen decor, it looks great! I get many comments on it. The prices range widely depending on which one you get, what color, ect but you can sometimes find one for under $200 and it is an investment that you will have forever and would probably pass on to family!
