My Artisan mixer was a wedding gift and I use it about once a week. We purposely selected this mixer for our wedding registry because we had heard such good things about it - and they’re all true! Since we acquired ours, my husband and I have bought the Artisan mixer for 2 other newlywed couples.

This mixer is a real mixer in the sense that when I want to mix something, I never even think twice about whether it’s going to shift around all over the counter, whether it’s going to start shaking uncontrollably just to get my ingredients mixed, or whether it’s actually going to successfully mix everything in the bowl. I always have amazingly mixed end products thanks to the various attachments that come with the mixer. They’ve clearly done some research to determine what styles are most effective - because all mixing attachments really work.

I know many reviews say that this mixer is heavy (and it is, I’m not denying that), but the result of its weight is that it doesn’t move around on the counter - it stays put, even with really tough jobs. Plus, it doesn’t really matter to me how heavy it is since I leave it out on my countertop and the brushed steel look goes with all my appliances. That’s another perk for the style-conscious cooks out there. The Artisan comes in so many different colors - and even causes. Some proceeds from the pink mixer go to fight breast cancer.
