I have 6 kids, so that makes 8 in my family. Plus we love to entertain! Now where I live this is the only version of the Kitchen Aid Mixer (Classic Series K45SS) we can buy… so this is what I had to settle for. If I had to have my choice, it would have been one of those wonderful professional sizes!!! But, no choice! Anyhow, I have put this thing through the wringer for a few years now… you can beat on it, knead dough endlessly, even lend it to people without fear! It has stood the test of my house! It is pretty much indestructible!!! So even if it’s NOT the professional size, it works like a madman and never tires out! It is a cinch… turn it on… turn it off. Lock it in place so it doesn’t bounce all over! It compliments any kitchen counter! And it’s kidproof!
