This hand mixer has an electronic feedback mechanism that automatically kicks in extra power for heavy mixing jobs. The touch-pad speed control in the handle is easy to clean and includes a digital timer that counts up as soon as you start mixing. The smooth start feature starts the beaters gradually, to eliminate spattering. The innovative swivel cord can be positioned for right- or left-handed cooks, and the stainless steel beaters are extra long and wide for faster, more thorough mixing.

Just bought it to replace my old Kitchen Aid hand mixer, based on the reviews that I read here.

I agree with everyone’s comments that it is powerful and definitely better than my previous mixer. My daughter and I, however felt that the noise reminded us of an airplane taking off and we also felt our hands vibrating after a few minutes of use. It is heavy to hold but I guess you get used to that. The digital readout with speed and timer was difficult to read -even with glasses.

I recommend it but feel sorry for family members in the next room trying to watch TV with that noise!!!
