Cons: Noisy. Terrible, basically non-existent service, poor workmanship.
Bought this in August 2005. Worked really worked well for one season. It was about 9 months before the planatary gear broke. It has now been in the shop since September 2006! The shop is still waiting for parts. DeLongi told them the parts were due in on November 30th, but they never arrived. They now say they have no idea when they will get the parts needed.
Update 8/27/2007 - If you’re thinking this story has a happy ending, your wrong! We are still waiting for Delonghi to provide parts for this mixer. First they were due in March. In March they said June. In June they said a large shipment of parts was due at the end of July. Again, no parts for the mixer. And today they tell me that the parts are now due in September. The 1st anniversary of putting the mixer in the shop is coming up next week! It has now officially spent more time in the shop than it did on our counter! And DeLonghi ignores my demands for a replacement mixer. Stay away from this mixer!
