The Dimension 2000 is belt Driven, and has an 800 Watt motor that offers more power than any other household Kitchen Machine. You wont have the same trouble with overheating as you do with other brands. The 6 Qt bowl can easily handle 10 -12 lbs of dough, and the blender will crush or "snow" ice better than any blender on the market.

Positive Mixes bread great.

This mixer is great.. the blender is NOT. I bought this because I was told it is just like the Bosch Universal mixer without the bosch price. Well it isn’t!!

The blender jumps off while running, and the blades come unscrewed while blending! Trying to get the blades off the first time was terrible. You are supposed to use the blender lid, but I had to use a wrench.

The mixer itself is great for breads. But I have a bowl with a manufacturer defect. I tried to call the company about this but the company has gone out of business so I couldn’t get it fixed. If you already have a D-2000 like I do, it is a great mixer, you just have to get used to it. I use mine daily. But I truly wish I had gone with the Bosch instead of trying to save a mere $100.

IF you find one of these for sale.. stay away.. Spend the extra money and get the Bosch Universal Mixer. This company has been around over 30 years and they are great.
