I received my mixer for Christmas this year from my fiance’s mother. I must admit, it was my favorite gift.

I love this mixer. It mixes everything thoroughly, the paddle reaches every part of the bowl. I’ve made a double batch of chocolate chip cookies with this mixer with no problems at all.

I think my favorite thing about this appliance is that you don’t have to stand over the bowl and mix the batter yourself. Not too long ago, I was making chili and needed to tend to that. I threw my corn muffin ingredients in the mixer, turned it on, and when I was ready for it, it was ready for me!

I have heard stories of people having their Kitchen Aid for years, some people even have their grandmother’s mixer. $250 for a mixer seems to be a lot, but if you realize that you will have this for the rest of your life, and possibly pass it on to future generations, it is really a good value. I have not had any problems with my mixer, but I have always heard good things about Kitchen Aid customer service, so I feel confident that if I ever do have a problem, I’ll be taken care of.

The one I have is white because my kitchen is white right now but this mixer comes in great colors, I love the red and the blue! You can get a stand mixer that will last forever, reduce your work in the kitchen, and be an attractive addition to your kitchen! You really can’t go wrong with this product!
