Dishing up international cuisine every night takes a lot of preparation, and nothing handles the load like the Kitchen Aid.

Silky mashed potatoes don’t begin to challenge this powerhouse. Creme’ fresh - easy. Whipping up egg whites for the Grand Marnier souffle’ - done. No task is too demanding. We made everything from Scottish Haggas to meringue for Baked Alaska to raspberry puffs for Valentine’s day desserts without so much as a shutter from the capable beaters.

The attachments are endless as well: fill your own sausages, make fresh juice with the juicer attachment, make fresh pizza dough with the special dough hook attachment, grind your own grains for fresh bread. Ronco should be jealous!

This mixer is simply the best in class - and exceeds expectations for quality, durability, and usability. It’s easy to use, looks great (now available in your favorite color), and handles anything you throw at it. The price is more than your typical Wal-Mart special, but if you want a commercial quality mixer with all the buttons it’ll cost ya. Look for specials at your favorite department store - you can sometimes find them around $189 if you wait for the right sale.

Overall, ideal for anyone wanting to mix anything, but is admittedly heavy due to the solid, all-metal construction and takes up quite a bit of counter space. Also, some attachments are not dishwasher safe - get out those dishtowels. The standard package usually comes with the wire whip, flat beater, and dough hook attachments as well as the splash guard and pouring shield. Your family will love it!
