The Black & Decker Ergo handheld mixer upon first inspection looks like it is supposed to be ergonomic (supposedly more comfortable) to hold. In actuality it resembles a duck. I was delighted at having a new mixer after using an inexpensive, broken mixer for twelve years!! Boy was I in for a disappointment. I was given this mixer as a Christmas present and I don’t have the heart to tell the gift giver. I found this machine awkward and downright uncomfortable to use. I developed a cramp in my forearm the first time I used it. It is also very loud and quite heavy in your hand.
The only redeeming quality about this product is the long 5 foot cord. I do not like this machine and would not recommend this one to anyone. Looks like I will have to go out and find my own mixer. Maybe I’ll get one just like the other one that finally broke after twelve years. Or just look one up on this board!!
