I have had my mixer for several months now and am very happy with it. I like it’s compact size and light weight. It is easy to store and “easy on the pocketbook,” too. Even though the beaters aren’t meant to be interchangeable with other models, it does accept and use my old set very well…a real help when I make a cake and then want to frost it within an hour. This mixer has never faltered, even on large batches of potatoes or fudge that are stiff and need a good, long beating! I don’t use the power boost much, but am glad to have that feature. The beater eject works smoothly every time. I wouldn’t change anything about this mixer except ask Black & Decker to use a standardized beater on all hand-held models. I bought this for myself to replace a similar model that had worked great for years by the same maker. After this second good experience, I consider myself now a fan of the Black & Decker MX 45 and would highly recommend it to anyone!
