Both it and Kenwood’s 5-quart, 650-watt Chef Classic grace many a household and professional kitchen. All Kenwood mixers feature "planetary" action: tools rotate in one direction, while the tool socket rotates in the other, guaranteeing thorough mixing. In addition to the standard fixture for inserting beater, whisk, and dough hook, Kenwood mixers have three other outlets (concealed when not in use) to accommodate some 25 attachments such as a potato peeler, juicer, slicer/shredder, pasta maker, and sausage maker (the attachments must be purchased separately).

A good one if you do a lot of cooking and baking

The Kenwood KM800 Classic mixer is wonderful if you do a lot of cooking and baking.and will deal with heavy bread dough fairly easily. I also found it “walked” accross the counter with really heavy mixes in it.

However it is sturdy and durable and worth the money. I found it particularly good for heavy cake mixes, like rich fruit cake.

The one drawback that I found with it was that it was too large to leave out on the work surface in my kitchen and therefore sometimes too much of a chore to get it all out of the cupboard and set it up.
