I have always wanted a mixer, but the price was always too high. A friend of ours owns an appliance store and was clearing these out and sold it to us for $99. Obviously I jumped on that fairly quickly. I have seen these sold for $430.

Pros: It has 10 speeds

3 attachments: whisk, flat beater and a bread mixing attachment.

The bowl is very pretty. It has flowers etched into it.

I actually like the copper color because it matches my kitchen. I do believe there are other colors it comes in. The attachments go on and come off easily. The arm lifts easily.

Cons: It is really heavy. This is only a con if you move it a lot. It is also kind of hard to clean the body. It is the texture of the base that makes it hard. Also, I have noticed that sometimes it doesn’t mix everything down at the very bottom. You have to use a spatula to get it out so it can mix. This is minimalized if you add liquids first.

It can be really expensive, but it has been worth the money I shelled out for it. It saves me a lot of time. It is really easy for kids to use too. Although lifting the arm and lowering it should be supervised with younger children because of the weight. It is not very loud on the lower speeds and really moves on the higher speeds. The bowl locks into the bottom, so it is important to make sure you put it in correctly when assembling it.

I love it and wish I would have bought one sooner.
