One day I decided to make some of my favorite cookies and I didn’t have a mixer so I did it by hand. Bad idea on my part, because they don’t call them $250 cookies for nothing. It takes some work to make them, especially the mixing part. So I figured I would buy a mixer, and so I bought the only brand that I knew. I didn’t expect to buy this particular more expensive one but the salesman was good at his job and I ended up with it. After having it for about 6 months I found that I was using it for anything I could. I was then able to realize that it actually had many other attachments that could be used and I soon found myself buying them. So far I have been completely satisfied with this KitchenAid Mixer and I really enjoy using it, Its more than just a mixer.

Included:

The KitchenAid Artisan Mixer has a 5 Quart/4.7 Liter mixing bowl with handle that attaches to the base of the mixer itself. Included is a flat beater for regular mixing, a dough hook for kneading dough, a wire whip for whipping, and a splash guard that attaches itself to the top of the bowl, to protect from spillage.

Not only is it a mixer it’s also equipped with a removable hub to attach 9 optional attachments which include, a pasta sheet roller and cutter set, a citrus juicer, a grain mill, a food and meat grinder, an ice cream maker, a slicer and shredder, a ravioli maker, a fruit and vegetable strainer, and a sausage stuffer.

There is also a recipe book that comes with it that shows how much flour a mixer can effectively mix based on power and bowl capacity. The beater has a unique 67 different touch points in the bowl for quick and complete mixing which makes it unique.
