I bought this product because I do a lot of baking especially at holidays and I was blowing up hand held mixers at a rate of at least one a year. I saw this product at work on a QVC show and the doughs that they were making which were stiff and thought that is the mixer for me. I have to say it works even better than I could have expected. I made it through all my holiday cookies, candies and stuff since then and she is going great. I have one dough that is very thick and this mixer had no trouble at all mixing it well. The only thing I dislike about this product is the splash guard. I would have liked it better had it been one piece. I like the ease of use and the fact that it does it all from cookie doughs to pizza doughs to bread doughs. I would say that anybody should be able to use this product. I would recommend it to anyone who does a lot of baking.
