Great For Bread Making - KitchenAid 300 Watts KSM90 Ultra Power Series Stand Mixer

I love to make bread but found myself with less time to do it these days. After buying a bread machine I found the texture wasn’t what I was used to with handmade bread. The next best thing I thought would be to use a mixer with a dough hook attachment. The dough hook on the Kitchen Aid Ultra Power KSM90 Stand Mixer is sturdy enough to knead bread dough while I did other cooking chores. I not only use it to knead bread dough but for all my other mixing needs. The construction of this mixer is top rate, it’s much quieter than my hand held model and I’m not tied to it while something is mixing. It’s a great quality stand mixer and easy to use. Best of all it’s most likely the last mixer I’ll ever have to buy. In my opinion you can’t go wrong with this one.

Want To Ease Soreness Get A Ergo Mixer - Black & Decker 200 Watts Ergo EHM90 Hand Mixer

This is by far the best little mixer I have had, The ease of use is wonderful, I have sore hands and this unit is the one for me it is lightweight and the handle grip is great.. It has a very strong motor in it for hand mixers it seems to tackle any job I have for it, and the longer rods on the beaters keep the food from creeping all the way up to the unit. I really love this little mixer I use it for everything, I have one of those monster mixers and I hate to drag it out and this one I can whip it right out, and it is so easy to clean. I highly recommend this for all you hand soreness people you won’t be sorry. Again Black & Decker has done good…. Thank you

Good for the amateur - Sunbeam 450 Watts Heritage 2346 / 2347 / 2348 / 2349 Stand Mixer

This is a great beginner’s stand mixer because it has all basic settings and Sunbeam is a trusted name in the world of cooking and baking. I got this after graduating from college to start a baking career but I decided to upgrade this year because it lacked features that I desired. I love the fact that it is simple to use and easy to move around but I could use more settings and attachment options offered by its competitors. I would recommend this to anyone looking to start baking but not if you are going to invest a lot of time into it and not if you are a professional. It is also more affordable than some of the other stand mixers. It is fairly loud and there are some difficulties in manipulating the tilt feature. It does have the dual beaters and two motors that make it more powerful than a standard hand mixer. Overall, this is a temporary mixer but a good temporary mixer. It has more power than the 300 WATT Sunbeam Stand Mixer and it resembles the older Sunbeam Stand mixer seen in the 1960s. It makes for a good gift to a college graduate or novice baker.

If you don’t have the counter space, throw out your toaster! - KitchenAid 300 Watts KSM90 Ultra Power Series Stand Mixer

Some women dream of diamonds….or pearls….or extravagant vacations to exotic destinations. My dream since before I was married has been to be the kind of cook who could actually justify the purchase of a Kitchen Aid stand mixer. This Christmas, I achieved that dream, when my darling husband (Cap’n Darwin) bought me my beautiful KSM90PSWH. Of course, it is gorgeous on the kitchen counter, and mixes with incredible speed and thoroughness. But my favorite feature is definitely how easy this mixer is to clean! After spending hours preparing food, taking a toothpick to the crevices on my stand mixer is not exactly my idea of fun. But with the Kitchen Aid stand mixer, clean up is simply a swipe with a damp sponge over the smooth, ceramic coated surfaces.

Finally! - KitchenAid 325 Watts Artisan KSM150PS Stand Mixer

We have been wanting to purchase one of these mixers for a couple of years now. We finally broke down and bought it for ourselves at Christmas. We now wonder why we waited so long!

The power and ease of use is wonderful. This is our first stand mixer so being able to turn it on throw in your ingredients and move on to something else is a wonderful new experience. The speed range is more than adequate for anything we have needed it for.

A lot of power! - Bosch 300 Watts MFQ2100 Hand Mixer

I was given this product as a gift a couple of years ago. I was not even aware that Bosch made hand mixers, being more familiar with their large kitchen appliances. My last couple of hand mixers were the cheap discount store variety, and I burned out the last one making mashed potatoes. I never replaced it. I was ready to be unimpressed with the Bosch. Well, the quality lives up to its name.

The mixer has three speed settings, which are adjusted by a sliding switch at the top of the handle. There is also a ‘burst’ button, which is activated by moving this same sliding switch backwards.

The wire beaters are very sturdy, and are top-rack dishwasher safe. It also comes with dough hooks. They are made of heavy steel. I have no problem even mixing pizza dough with these hooks.

This is a very powerful mixer - whenever I want to whip cream or beat egg whites, I reach for this over my Kitchen Aid stand mixer. With this hand mixer, I never have to worry about unbeaten egg whites at the bottom of the bowl. You will probably want to use a pretty deep bowl, however, as it does spray things around due to its power. All in all, I am very pleased with the quality and qualities of this mixer. It is well worth the higher price.

Many parts later I find accessory that makes it work! - KitchenAid 525 Watts KP2671X Stand Mixer

The Mfgr calls this their “professional” model, a bit of a joke, really. This model is identical to the KP26M1 that replaced it. After using it on a regular basis, for medium batches (4-5 cup yeast bread) I am now on the 4th transmission housing (100% plastic casting) the PN is PS1156121 in case you go on the hunt for one. Kitchen aid was of little help in locating parts (the old will call back story, think they ever did?) 24.00$ for one, plus 9.00 for the correct grease to fill the bugger. They have little buttressing, and crack both around the screw holes, and at the pinion bushing area. Replacing the housing is a greasy mess!

Don’t Tell ME Appliances Can’t Be Great Anniversary Gifts! - KitchenAid 300 Watts KSM90 Ultra Power Series Stand Mixer

Ok, so I didn’t receive it from my Husband (it was from my Mom). It IS, however, destined to be ranked right at the top of my all-time favorite Anniversary Gifts. The Kitchen Aid Ultra Power Stand Mixer (Model KSM90) is a Bake-aholic’s dream come true!

Last month I got the chance to really put this baby to the ultimate test. I was baking goodies for the staff at my son’s school, and I had a TON of goodies to bake. In *one day* I baked Brownies, Oatmeal Bars, Lemon Squares, 2 kinds of Pound Cake (both with homemade icing), and Nut Tarts (with homemade pastry) for the staff; as well as two Pumpkin Pies (with homemade crusts) for my son’s classroom. I may be crazy for all this volunteerism, but I’m not crazy enough to try such a feat without my Stand Mixer!
