I had a 3-speed Cuisinart hand mixers, but i brought the beater. I replaced it with this mixer. I bought both at Sam’s wholesale for about $20.
Both hand mixers are very powerful. I had beat everything from chocolate chip cookies with pecans to mashed potatoes to egg whites with no problem. I have also noticed that with the speed and power, it doesn’t take long to mix anything. I’ve also made peanut butter cookies with both mixers without a problem. With my old, stand-alone, Sunbeam mixer, I can actually smell start to smoke with I beat anything like thick, chocolate chip or peanut butter cookies. I haven’t had that problem with the Cuisinart hand mixer.
The problems I had with installing the beater is more than likely my issue. I’m probably in such a hurry to get the cake or cookies in the oven, I’m not doing it right. I broke the 3 speed mixer because the beaters were in right. When I turned on the mixer, I beater fell out and bent.
