Positive Lots of power

Cons: It lasted five years with occasional use.

This is a nice little mixer, despite the fact that it “died” yesterday while I was making divinity candy. When my handyman husband opened the mixer to repair it, the nylon gears were stripped - and I can’t find replacements.

It was five years old, so it lasted longer than most mixers like this.

I especially liked the “Burst of Power” for times when it became stuck in batter. It is very powerful, so I mostly used lower speeds. Another great feature were the beaters, which don’t have a center post. They’re very easy to clean.

At about $3.50 per year of use, I’ll probably replace it with another Sunbeam.
