Pretty but that’s it

Cons: Heavy, difficult to maneuver, NO slow speed!

I got this mixer to replace my avocado green mixer that was made in the 50’s and has been handed down 3 generations. The beaters were getting pretty rusty so I decided it was time to get a new one.

I got this Sunbeam but in the pretty red color. It is pretty, BUT it has no slow speed at all. I have only used it twice but I’m ready to dig out the old one from my daughter’s hope chest. It flung cookie dough around so much on the slowest speed that it wound up all over the cabinets and even landed on my dog!! (although the dog didn’t mind. Now he comes over if he sees me touch the mixer).

It’s pretty but keep on looking.
