A Great Machine!

Positive multi-speed good for heavy doughs, whipping egg whites, cake mixes and frosting, etc.
Cons: still none, after 11 years of frequent usage!

I’d always wanted a stand mixer because the hand-held mixers on the market just weren’t “tough enough” to last very long or to handle things like bread or cookie dough. This machine does it all! It comes with bread dough hooks which, now that I have a bread machine, don’t get used often, but it handles mixes cookie dough as easily as cake mixes. It really got a workout for Christmas, 2003, as I made cookies and banana bread every single day for a week, then a week later had to make a carrot cake for my husband’s birthday. Through it all, my Sunbeam Mixmaster handled it all like a champ!
