Kenmore’s noisy mixer - Kenmore 600 Watts KSM100 Stand Mixer

I work in a cake shop and I have wanted this mixer for some time. It has a 600 watt motor. It is compatible with the kitchen-aid attachments and the price was much better. It seemed to have it all. When I first got it home and started it up I was so disappointed. It sounded like a jet plane. I thought maybe it needed to warm up. I made a few things thinking the noise might ease up, boy was I wrong. I got a nasty head ache in less than 20 minutes. I thought maybe mine was the only one that was noisy. My boss had also bought one so I asked her to try hers to see if I just got a bad one. After a couple minutes she put it back in the box and took it back to the store. I was so embarrassed.

Turbo Powered Hand Mixer - Kenmore 200 Watts KMX10T Hand Mixer

KENMORE 10 Speed Hand Mixer

I recently purchased a Kenmore 10 Speed Hand Mixer at a brick and mortar Sears store in Thousand Oaks, California.

It was a much needed kitchen tool. I am a one year newlywed and was simply tired of using a big spoon to mix cakes and other baked goodies. Yes, it is true you can actually mix batters with a spoon and a whole lot of elbow grease. However, it takes much longer to produce a smooth batter and can really tucker you out in a short time.

Whipped cream isn’t whipped cream at all!* - Kenmore 350 Watts KSM035 Stand Mixer

Last year, I was looking for a stand mixer. I have a hand mixer at home, but if you’ve ever tried to mix something on low for 2 minutes, high for 5 minutes, then low again, you’re arm starts falling off.

After checking into it, I walked into Sears with a 10%-off coupon to look at the mixers. I’ve had good luck with Kenmore products in the past, and the mixer seemed to have good features: 2 stainless steel bowls, beaters, cookie dough hooks. The mixer is 350 watts, which is comparable to the second tier of Kitchen Aid mixers.

Cheap - But you get what you pay for - Kenmore 600 Watts KSM100 Stand Mixer

We were in the market for a stand mixer and had pretty much decided on a KitchenAid model, until I was at Sears and saw this unit. I was surprised to see the larger bowl, ability to use KitchenAid attachments, and very strong 600 watt motor. Still being somewhat dubious I went home and checked out the epinions reviews. Based on those, I purchased it for my wife as one of her Christmas presents.

A Heavy Noisy Powerful Squad Stand Mixer - Kenmore 600 Watts KSM100 Stand Mixer

This review is about the Sears Kenmore 16 speed stand mixer model number # KSM100. We purchased this machine for $184 back in April 2004 to replace a light duty one that burned-out. This mixer comes with a powerful microprocessor controlled 16 speed with a 600 watt motor. When you turn on this mixer it starts slow and gradually go up to its speed. Each of its speed range is slightly faster than the previous one with the fastest speed that is well suited for making meringue.

The SUV of the Stand Mixer World - DeLonghi 800 Watts Cucina DSM800 Stand Mixer

If you’ve read some of my other reviews, you may be well aware of the fact that I’m an avid baker. I taught myself how to make bread last fall, and kept it up by hand for a good long time until summer came. It was just too hot and time consuming to knead and wait and punch down and wait and then bake. I wanted to be outside at the beach, enjoying the summer weather and beautiful crystal Lake Michigan.

Great Machine, if you use earplugs. - Kenmore 600 Watts KSM100 Stand Mixer

I was very excited to find this affordable mixer at Sears and was thrilled that it accepted Kitchen Aid attachments. My friend and I both bought one. I loved the fact that it was smaller than the KA and more powerful. The excitement ended for us both when we got home and used the machine. It is so loud that you can’t even hold a conversation in the kitchen without yelling. My friend already returned hers and I am going to this week. It is unfortunate that there is not a good alternative to the KA in this price range, as I hear that KA’s quality has gone down hill. I am going to spend a bit more and get a Bosch.

get a hand mixer - Kenmore 350 Watts KSM035 Stand Mixer

I borrowed this mixer (KSM035) from my sister. when my KitchenAid let me down (that’s another story!). Tried to cream room-temp butter and had great difficulty: bowl didn’t rotate well, the motor sounded taxed (but it sounded the same when just spinning air), and the butter either glopped inside the beaters or stuck like wallpaper to the sides of the bowl. The controls are awkwardly located on bottom of the right side of the stand so that right-handed people must cross over the top of the machine to switch on/off, — which is necessary every rotation so that you can get the batter to the center of the bowl for mixing! If these controls were on the front, either on the base or the head, it would allow for easier pulsing action. But really, pulsing shouldn’t be a requirement for a mixer! Also, the location & design of the beaters eject button makes it difficult to remove beaters and potentially very messy, especially since 98% of the batter will be glued inside them!
