This mixer actually makes baking fun. It is so easy to use and has plenty of power. With 220 Watts and 7 speeds, it fulfills all your mixing needs. Operation is easy - just snap in the attachments, turn it on, and go! Because it has a SmoothStart feature, the mixer always starts on a very low speed, so as to prevent splatter.

There are 4 separate pieces that come with the SmartPower mixer: two metal beaters, a whisk, and a spatula. The extra long beaters work great for mixing dough, pancake batter and cake mix. The whisk works well for desserts like chocolate mousse whipped cream. The spatula is used for scraping additional food from the bowl you are mixing in. All components are dishwasher safe.

The mixer can also be used for dry ingredients. The first 3 settings are slow enough to handle dry, while the four high speeds are great for more intense beating/whisking. I personally have never used the 6th and 7th settings. They are ultra-fast, and I have never needed to do that serious of mixing. However, it is nice to know I have that option.

I love this mixer; I just wish it came in different colors. I’m not a big fan of white appliances, but the performance of this mixer is worth the sacrifice!
