I really enjoy using my Kitchen Aid mixer, and I know it will last forever. It makes me look like a professional chef, and is very easy to use.

It even includes a snap-on guard, which cuts down on the mess. And it is hands-free, so I can add ingredients without turning of and putting down the mixer.

It has a couple of drawbacks. The beaters do not always reach the edge well, so I have to push the batter down into the bowl with a spatula midway through the mixing cycle.

It is also somewhat awkward removing the bowl and beaters.

The mixer is very heavy. This is good when I don’t want it to slide, but not so good when I want to move it.

I know this mixer will last FOREVER, and I am glad that we made the investment. Now all I need are the food processing accessories that go with it. How long until Mother’s Day?
