Each year when Christmas rolled around, I would find myself standing forever in the kitchen mixing dough for the zillion types of cookies I make. Upon completion of each go-around, I would also find my right arm to be twice the size. Tired of mixing by hand and clinging to a hand mixer, I forked out the dough (no pun intended) and bought the Ultra Power KSM90 stand mixer. I only ask myself why, why, why didn’t I make this investment sooner.

I simply love to use what Kitchen Aid calls the "dump method", and put all the mixings in, flip the switch, and proceed to do other things around the kitchen while another being mixes my cookie dough. The longer I had the mixer, the more things I found to do with it such as using the KSM90 to make mashed potatoes, bread, and dips. There is more to this machine than ease in mixing cookie dough.

I am racking my brain right now trying to think of what I don’t like about the product. I guess the weight of it. The Ultra Power KSM90 is a beast to lift. It also takes up counter space, and if there is one out there who has a limited area, this machine may not be for you. Because of the weight, one cannot store it in a cupboard and haul it out each time a mixing need is present.

People who must have this product are those that do a lot of baking and cooking. It truly is a godsend. Those who don’t need the KSM90 are people who use a mixer perhaps just for Christmas baking.

I use my Ultra Power KSM90 more than I ever thought I would. It is a must have for busy kitchen people. Any product that takes a step out of something that one has to do is well worth the dough!!!
