I got this kitchen aid as a Valentines Day gift. I had previously owned the ultra powered in blue. I wanted to move up to the heavy duty because of all the bread making that I do. The ultra could do the Job but was occasionally sluggish during the kneading process.
The first stand mixer I had was a Oster Kitchen center and I burned the motor out in it twice while trying to make bread with it. I replaced it with the Ultra Powered Kitchen Aid and never had that problem again.
I love all the attachments that can be used with the mixer. I make all of my own baby food and the grinder attachment works beautifully.
I do wish that you didn’t have to take the beater attachment off before you can remove the bowl. I prefer the flip head of the Ultra or the Classic in this area.
You can get the Mixer to match almost any kitchen with it’s 8 different colors available in the heavy Duty model.
